Dinky Doos - meaning shoes in cockney rhyming slang, is an online and in-store shoe cobbler. Its target audience is Gen-Z women who want to make sustainable fashion choices. This brand identity aimed to not only brand the business 'dinky doos', but to rebrand Cobbler shops for a younger audience in general. Many solutions to sustainability in fashion are centred around producing low-carbon footprint products to sell, but the most sustainable option is keeping what you already have. The culture of getting your clothes repaired has disappeared in my generation, with it being so easy to buy a new pair of shoes. Making cobblers cool again, accessible and affordable would hopefully prevent gorgeous preloved shoes from going into landfill.
